Den här studien undersöker hur förutsättningar för lärande förändras genom Digital humanities.Utgångspunkt för lärande hämtas ur designteoretiskt multimodalt perspektiv. Teoretiskutgångspunkt för att uppnå förståelse inom Digital humanities är hermeneutisk teori. Studien hargenomförts med den öppna metoden litteraturanalys och analyserar antologin DigitalHumanities Pedagogy: Principles, Practices, Politics. Studien belyser Digital humanities utifrånolika kunskapsskapande aktiviteter inom lärande och hur lärande kan främjas genom digitalaverktyg och inlärningsmiljöer. Studien belyser exempel på hur Digital humanities ställer nyakrav på undervisning och den lärande samt att digitala öppna universitet med fri tillgång tillmaterial och undervisning, förändrar förutsättningarna för institutioner..

This thesis aims to answer the following questions: What type of vocabulary is used in the humanities? What does this implicate when it comes to indexing in the humanities? How do humanities scholars seek information and what type of information do they need? What consequences does this have when it comes to the development of humanities databases? How is the MLA International Bibliography organized? How does its indexing system ? CIFT ? work? How does the MLA International Bibliography correspond with the needs of the humanities scholar? The study shows that the type of vocabulary used in the humanities differs significantly from that used in the sciences. Therefore, information retrieval is often said to be problematic in the humanities when compared to the sciences. This is, however, not completely true. If consideration is taken to the different type of vocabulary used in the humanities, subject access proves to be more straightforward than has been generally recognized.

Med tankar från pedagogen Montessori och filosoferna Platon och Baudrillard har detta arbete behandlat frågor om datorn och dess betydelse för en grafiker. Frågeställningen formulerades efter hand och lydde tillslut: ?Hur kan materia te sig i digital form?? Forskningen resulterade i en hypotes för hur digital materia skulle födas i datorn: genom att blanda två uppsättningar av data, såsom två genuppsättningar tillsammans skapar en ny organism. Under produktionen utvecklades därmed en metod för hur en grafiker ska kunna skapa tillsammans med en dator. Syftet är att ge andra grafiker ett nytt sätt att se på digital grafik.

Syftet med denna undersökning är att ta reda på vad den elektroniska handeln via digital-TV har för förutsättningar att slå sig in på den redan befintliga marknaden där bland annat Internet finns. Elektronisk handel via digital-TV är en tjänst som inte finns idag, men som skall introduceras under hösten 1999.Eftersom handel via digital-TV inte finns i dagsläget, har en jämförelse gjorts mellan digital-TV och Internet för att på så sätt få ett mer konkret resultat vad det gäller digital-TV. Den elektroniska handeln via Internet är på frammarsch och om tekniken fungerar bra på Internet, kan erfarenheterna även utnyttjas och användas på digital-TV.Rapportens resultat visar att den elektroniska handeln via digital-TV kommer att fungera och även att handel via digital-TV kommer att bli ett komplement till Internet. This paper investigates how students in the humanities in four universities in Sweden reflect on their education and the current view on the humanities as an education and a science. I want to investigate what impact the past few years public debate about the humanities have had on the students. What kind of beliefs and identities do the students of the humanities form and how do they discuss the universities, the choices they made in life and how do they feel about the future.This study is based on interviews with seventeen students in Sweden from four different universities. The research is also based upon a report that The Confederation of Swedish Enterprise (Svenskt Näringsliv) published in 2011 and the debate following that report. I have also made participant observations on the four universities to make a broader description for the reader.

The notion of a crisis needs to be historicized.In this study, a case is being examined where the relationship between science and society was renegotiated. In the context of World War II, a discourse has been identified in a borderland between science and politics through an analysis of Swedish journals and anthologies during the time period 1937-1947.

Syftet med uppsatsen var att ta reda på hur man som pedagog kan arbeta med digital portfolio i förskola samt hur digital portfolio kan fungera som ett underlag till reflektion över pedagogens verksamhet samt som ett verktyg till att förändra den. I min undersökning har jag använt mig av en kvalitativ metod i form av intervjuer med pedagoger i förskolan som arbetar med digital portfolio. Min studie visar att pedagogerna anser att digital portfolio är ett arbetssätt som synliggör barns lärande för pedagogerna, barnen själva samt för föräldrarna. Studien visar även att digital portfolio används till att förstå och förändra den egna verksamheten men att pedagogerna inte på ett medvetet sätt använder digital portfolio till det syftet. This thesis examines source criticism and critical thinking among upper secondary school students in social science in three different schools in Sweden. Our particular focus lies in investigating the student's critical thinking skills and evaluation of digital sources when they work independently with different projects. How do students value and sort the information they find? We looked furthermore at what factors that may influence students in their evaluation of sources. Moreover, the purpose of this thesis to investigate how the student's critical thinking skills can be used as tools to become more information literate in a learning context.

Från att uteslutande ha utförts i 2D har digital compositing dock kommit att innebära en alltmer tredimensionell process. There is an ongoing evolution in scholarly communication. The traditional way of communicating scholarly results through scientific journals is beginning to be replaced by other means of dissemination. One new channel for scholars to communicate their results is digital publication in so-called open archives. An open archive is a kind of full text database, where a scholar may archive/publish his or her articles, as a complement or a substitute to publishing in scientific journals. I denna studie har skolledares åsikter och insikter kring digital kompetens stått i centrum.
